Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition Still Destined for Xbox One

By Kelly Packard, 4 months ago
It's usually not a good sign when we stop hearing news about a game, especially one that was supposed to launch seven months ago. The game in question is Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition, which launched in August 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC but had a last-minute delay for Xbox One. Comments on our last news post indicate users were fearing the worst: a cancellation.

Despite the silence, TA YouTube Team member Dean has gotten in touch with Night Trap's developer, Screaming Villains, who has confirmed via email that the game is still coming to Xbox One.

Night Trap

Screaming Villains replied that "[The] Xbox version is still coming! Some unexpected things happened along the way which obviously delayed it, but it's definitely coming."

As always, we'll let you know when we hear of a more definite date. In the meantime, rest easy that this 1992 SEGA CD title will eventually arrive on your Xbox One.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition achievements.
