With the latest instalment in the SoulCalibur franchise due to arrive later this year, many players have gone back to 2012's Xbox 360 instalment SoulCalibur V to get some practice in before the game's release. Unfortunately, that practice will have to take place in one less mode relatively soon, as Bandai Namco has announced that the Global Colosseum online game mode will be coming to an end on Xbox 360.
There is no date for when the mode will be taken offline, so if you want to play it for one last time, we advise doing so as soon as possible. The mode may even have been taken offline already. The good news is that the closure won't affect any of the game's 16 online achievements, seeing as they can all be completed in ranked or player matches.
All other online modes will be staying online for Xbox 360. The mode also seems to be staying online for PlayStation 3, so if you have that version of the game, you will be able to continue playing unhindered.
We've got the full list of SoulCalibur V achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
