Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update Includes New Battle Techniques

As we detailed earlier this week, the "Extra Pack 2" DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has arrived. Alongside the DLC is a large update for all players and it adds many new features, such as new battle techniques, new partner customisation, new transformations and a new skill. Here's a full list of what is included in the update:

  • New Battle Techniques; including:
    • Limit Burst: Temporary increase in strength to get an upper hand in desperate situations
    • Flash Revive: Sacrifice hit-points to revive an ally
  • New Awoken Skill and SSGSS Transformations
  • New Partner Customizations along with additional outfits for player avatars
  • Turn your Master into a Partner: Raise your friendship level to maximum and turn your Master into a powerful partner to unleash combined combos and techniques
  • More Figures and Scenarios coming to the Hero Colosseum
Publisher Bandai Namco has promised that new online events will also be coming soon. These include 2v2 bouts where players can fight alongside a friend against a pair of opponents. You can take a look at all of these new features in the trailer below:


Meanwhile, the "Extra Pack 2" DLC is available for purchase and includes the following content:

  • 4 new powerful characters (including Jiren, Fu and Android 17)
  • Exclusive New Scenario
  • 5 New Parallel Quests
  • 2 New Costumes
  • 8 New Skills
  • 8 New Super Souls
The free update is available now and will be ready to download if you haven't done so already. The "Extra Pack 2" DLC is available for US$9.99/£7.99/€9,99 and can be purchased from the Microsoft Store using the button below if you wish.
