Check out the video for all of the glorious, gory details.

In the other bit of Mortal Kombat news, the developer and publisher also announced that they will be releasing a demo of the game this month. The demo will allow gamers to play as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena and Johnny Cage in two of the game's arenas - the Living Forest and the Pit. The demo will also feature the arcade ladder for one or two players.

Unfortunately, the demo will be released exclusively to PlayStation Plus members first. They will be getting it on March 8th. The rest of PSN will be getting it on March 15th.

The exact date for the demo coming to the 360 was not released at this time, but the press release did say:

The demo will later be available for download on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Stay tuned to TrueAchievements, as we will keep you up-to-date on when the demo will be coming to Xbox LIVE.

Mortal Kombat will be released on April 19th in the States and Canada and April 21st in Europe.
