Season Two of TA Playlist Kicks Off Today with Sea of Thieves for April 2018

Somehow a quarter of the calendar year has already passed us by. Though, according to our TA Playlist calendars, it's the beginning of a new year. We kicked off last April with Alan Wake, and beginning today and running through the month we'll be launching our second season of the community game club with Rare's brand new title, Sea of Thieves. The game launched just days ago to mostly middling reviews, though at least one reviewer seemed to like it quite a lot.

Sea of Thieves

Among the talking points we may be considering in the forum this month are whether the game's focus on user-generated storytelling is effective, the often dramatic mix of PVP and PVE elements, and the game's quieter moments when you're sailing the open seas conflict-free. We hope you'll join us for April — or at least burn your Game Pass trial for a few weeks — and come aboard the great ship TrueAchievements in search of treasure, laughter, and the newly reactivated achievements.

This also means our month with Fable II has come to a close. It was another very busy month and we recorded the podcast yesterday, so look for that on site soon. With that said, don your eye patches and practice your best pirate impressions. We're going sailing this month!

This game was featured in our Best Xbox MMOs Available in 2018 article. Why not check it out to see what else made the cut?
