Space Hulk: Deathwing No Longer Releasing for Xbox One

Space Hulk: Deathwing has had a long and storied development phase for consoles. Though originally expected in 2015, this entry into the Warhammer 40k universe didn't launch on PC until 2016 and hasn't even made its way to consoles yet. However, the Xbox One platform appears to have been dropped without warning.

Space Hulk: Deathwing

An official tweet from the Space Hulk account advertised Space Hulk: Deathwing - Enhanced Edition to launch on May 22nd for "PC and PS4." When a user queried about the Xbox One release, someone from the account replied, "We can confirm that the Enhanced Edition is going to only release on PS4 and PC."

Questions for further clarification about if a different version than the Enhanced Edition would be releasing for Xbox One have gone unanswered, but one would imagine the publisher would be happy to advertise a different version of the game for Xbox One — if it existed. At this point, we can only assume Space Hulk: Deathwing is dead in the water for Xbox One.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Space Hulk: Deathwing achievements.
