Originally released for VR devices last October, The Invisible Hours
is set to make its way to Xbox One later this year, as revealed by a page for the game popping up on the Microsoft store. Made by Spanish studio Tequila Works, who has brought us the likes of RiME
and The Sexy Brutale
, the game will task the player with solving the murder of the internet's favourite scientist, Nikola Tesla.
In order to figure out this complex murder mystery, players will be able to freely explore Tesla's mansion where they can choose to follow any of the suspects — including Tesla’s former assistant, a convicted murderer, the world's most famous actress, a blind butler, the son of a wealthy railroad magnate, and, of course, rival inventor Thomas Edison — or explore the mansion itself for hidden clues. To see a little of what that looks like, we can check out the game's original reveal trailer. While it was filmed in VR, it has been re-formatted for non-VR displays, so presumably gives some sort of idea of what the Xbox One version might look like.
If any of that has you intrigued, you're in luck as there's not too long to wait. The Invisible Hours
makes its way to Xbox One, with Xbox One X enhancements including HDR10 and 4K Ultra HD, on April 24th.
