Now that Far Cry 5
has released — and by most accounts has been a huge success — Ubisoft is shifting towards post-launch support for the game. This begins with its first live event that will task players with a timeframe to complete a certain challenge, with an appropriate reward for those who manage to succeed.
The inaugural live event will challenge players with setting some of Hope County's wildlife on fire. It doesn't sound too difficult, even if it is something you might not want to let PETA know about. Well, you're going to have to do it without using molotovs or flamethrowers, because fellow Resistance member Hurk thinks you can't. As a reward, individual players will receive a new flamethrower skin and the community as a whole will win a face mask.
The event has already begun in Far Cry 5
and will run until next Tuesday, April 10th.
