Slime Rancher Getting Retail Release

By Kelly Packard, 8 months ago
Developer Monomi Park has announced Slime Rancher will be getting a retail release. For Xbox One players, the decision may sound strange since the game launched almost a year ago and was included as Games With Gold upon launch — even making TrueAchievements' Most Played Games of 2017 list — but the reason for the retail launch is that Slime Rancher was just announced for PS4.

At least as far as we can gather from the video and YouTube description, this version of Slime Rancher does not appear to offer any bonus content and is not a collector's edition or special edition. Monomi has described the upcoming release simply as a "boxed version."

Slime Rancher launches for retail in September 2018.
