Supergiant Games announced earlier today that they have struck a deal with Warner Bros. Interactive to bring their action-RPG Bastion
to the Xbox LIVE Arcade later this year. Developed by six people working out of a small office in San Jose, Bastion
sports some amazing visuals. Do not take my word for it however, as you should check out the trailer:
not only sets itself apart with hand painted visuals, but also a dynamic narration system. The back story of the Calamity, a catastrophic event that has broken the world into floating islands, is gradually revealed as the narrator reacts to the player's actions in real time.
You play as The Kid in your quest to create a safe haven in the wake of the Calamity and to do so, must venture into the wild in search of supplies and survivors. Customizable weapons and brewed spirits provide additional firepower as you go deeper into the wilderness.
