Descenders Launches into Xbox Game Preview Next Tuesday By Dave Horobin, 09 May 2018 FollowtopicsDescendersNo More RobotsXbox Game PassOnline MultiplayerXbox One X EnhancedID@XboxCyclingDave Horobin RageSquid and No More Robots have today revealed that Descenders, the extreme downhill mountain biking game, will launch on the Xbox One next Tuesday via the Xbox Preview program as part of the ID@Xbox Game Fest. Using a "deep physics system and tight controls", Descenders is a game that is easy to pick up and play but hard to master, as players attempt to make their way down the mountain tracks whilst performing tricks and combos without bailing too many times. The Xbox One version of the game will release into preview with the new "Rogue-Bike Update" that will be added to the Steam version of the game on the same day, adding procedurally generated worlds that mean each run will be completely unique. Special challenge nodes dotted around the map will need to be discovered and you'll need to keep your nerve on Boss Jumps, but if you spend too long admiring the view, the sun will set forcing you to ride in the dark.As you play, you'll unlock kits, helmets, bikes and accessories, as well as Crew Members that will give you upgrades and mutators that will allow you to "hone your run to your exact specifications". With over 3.5 billion level combinations, that's a whole lot of content for you to explore. The game will also be enhanced with "crisper visuals" on show for Xbox One X owners, and will also include Mixer interactive integration where viewers can help or hinder the streamer as they play. You can check out the Descenders launch trailer below: Descenders launches into Xbox Game Preview next Tuesday, May 15th for $24.99 / £19.99 / €22.99.
