Konami has officially announced this year's entry into the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. The standard game's cover will feature FC Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho while a special edition cover will pay homage to David Beckham.

Despite recently ending a ten-year partnership with the UEFA Champions League, Konami promises "more fully licensed leagues and stadiums, more club licensed partnerships, and a host of new Legends ... will be announced in the weeks to come."

Gameplay-wise, PES 2019's Magic Moments feature will be "the forefront of PES 2019’s superior gameplay." Visible fatigue is a new mechanic and will impact players' performance and behavior. Redesigned shooting mechanics "will take into account improved ball physics, player and ball position, and player skills and shot style."

MyClub will also see "its biggest revamp to date" with a new card system that will "change the way players build their squads." Other features include a number of graphical boosts and 4K HDR support with compatible hardware like the Xbox One X.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 launches August 30th.
