The ironically named publisher/developer team of Good Shephard Entertainment and Italo Games announced the release date for Milanoir
, their bloody action homage to Italian crime movies of the 70s. The game plays out like a Quentin Tarantino-esque sprite top down shooter, complete with Italian language and English subtitles, bathroom settings, literal toilet humor, swearing in English, humans on fire, murder, revenge, and pixelated nudity. Previously the game had been announced for the Nintendo Switch and PC, but was just announced for Xbox One and PS4 as well.
Inspired by classic films like Caliber 9 and Almost Human, Milanoir is a story of greed, betrayal and revenge drawn to life with stylish pixel art graphics and a funky ‘70s soundtrack. Sneak, choke and shoot through the violent criminal underbelly of Milan on the hunt for the man who framed you, surviving breathtaking vehicle chases and gunfights while taking out anyone who stands in your way.Milanoir
is scheduled to be released on May 31st.
