Test Drive Unlimited 2 Patch Dated

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
Atari's Community Team Lead GMDestra has provided an update on the incoming patch for Test Drive Unlimited 2. The first part of the patch was released at 9am GMT / 1am PT on March 11th, and resolved the corruption issue that many of you were experiencing with your save files. In some cases, these corrupted files will have been repaired, but unfortunately not for everybody.

The main patch will be arriving at 9am GMT / 1am PT on Monday March 14th. This addresses several other problems:

We have worked diligently to stabilize the network and address log-in issues. Friends lists will now be populated, invites will work correctly and Clubs will be brought back online. The Casino has been optimized and the bug causing players to lose money has been resolved. We have also addressed many of the exploits in the game and will be monitoring cheating in all its forms.
As with all patches, it may take time to filter through the different LIVE regions, so be patient if the patch is not available for download at exactly 9am GMT / 1am PT.

A date has not been announced for the free DLC that is being released as a way of thanking fans for their support. The DLC is currently going through Microsoft's approval process, and Atari has promised to update the community as soon as the DLC is expected to go live. We will update you when we receive these details.
