World of Tanks Event Celebrates American Memorial Day

American Memorial Day honors the soldiers who have died fighting in the country's armed forces. World of Tanks developer Wargaming is paying homage to the holiday, which falls on May 28th this year, in an event that offers XP boosts for all as well as XP boosts and discounts specifically for American tanks.

"Without the service and sacrifice given by our soldiers, the world wouldn’t be the same place it is today, and World of Tanks certainly wouldn’t be possible," said TJ Wagner, World of Tanks Executive Producer.

On Memorial Day, or May 28th specifically, players can earn quintuple XP on the first victory in "as many vehicles as you like." This limited time event will only be active from 4:01 a.m. CDT on May 28th to May 29th at 3:59 a.m. CDT. The other discounts and bonuses are live now and will end June 1st at 3:59 a.m. CDT.
