The Sims 3 Servers Shutting Down

By Rebecca Smith, 9 months ago
It's been a while since we've had any server closures from EA. Unfortunately, this week brings along a server closure for a game that's managed to last over seven years on Xbox 360: The Sims 3. The online services for the game will be closed on July 2nd, 2018, but don't panic — no achievements are affected by the closure.

The game's online feature allowed players to access The Exchange, a place for players to share their created content and where others could download it for free. If there's something you've had your eye on, be it a house, or maybe a piece of clothing, it will be an idea to download it as soon as possible.

This feature wasn't required for any of the game's 50 achievements, so none of them will become discontinued when the servers are closed next month.

We've got the full list of The Sims 3 achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
