NBA 2K18 and Destiny 2 Free To Play This Weekend With Xbox Live Gold

By Ashley Woodcock,
The NBA Finals are almost over and it's not looking very promising for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are currently squaring off for the fourth consecutive year in a row against the defending NBA Champions the Golden State Warriors. The Playoffs may come to an end on Saturday, but you can copy or create your own results with a go at Visual Concepts' NBA 2K18.

Starting today from 9:00 AM PT and running until Sunday, June 10th at 11:59 PM PT, those with an Xbox Live Gold membership can play the title for free and check out the career mode, The Playground, and plenty more. On top of that, those who enjoy what they play can purchase the original version, the Legend Edition, or the Legend Gold Edition of the game via the Microsoft Store with 67% discounted from the original price. Virtual currency will also be available to purchase with a discount of 30%.

Developer Bungie's Destiny 2 is also available to check out for free this weekend for Xbox Live Gold members. 2017's Best Shooter Game of the Year sees players venturing into a mysterious universe with plenty of unexplored worlds to discover, as well as weapons and combat abilities. Can you reunite humanity's scattered heroes and stand together to take back your home from the troubling commander Ghaul?

Find out this weekend when the title will be free-to-play and also available to buy with 67% off the original price. The Destiny 2 game + Expansion Pass Bundle will also be available to pick up with a 35% discount off its usual price.
