Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition Coming to Consoles

You may have already had a go at developer Somasim and publisher Kalypso Media's Project Highrise as the game has been rocking the world of Steam since September 2016. Now, the game will be building on a new platform as it's been announced that Project Highrise: Architect's Edition will be coming to Xbox One this year.

All of the content from the original title will be included with the new edition, which will include the "Las Vegas" DLC and content packs "Miami Malls", "Tokyo Towers", "London Life", and the most recent release, "Brilliant Berlin". Your role as the architect and developer is to build skyscrapers. These skyscrapers need to be world-famous and masterpieces of art and engineering that will be the envy of the entire city. Of course, a skyscraper is more than just a very tall building made of steel and glass, skyscrapers are intricate ecosystems full to the brim of people working or living in these buildings. Buildings full of workers will be complex machines that will need your supervision and help to keep them running productively and smoothly.

Right from the start, every decision is in your hands. Every construction decision will be made by you — all the walls, wires, offices, apartments, and so on. Keep your tenants happy and make sure they are paying their rent on time. There's the financial side to look after as well, where you must keep a tactical eye on the bottom line and invest your hard earned money in the future of the city. Should you be a success in your job, you'll see the city get busier and thrive as people flock from all over to live and work. If things start to go south, well, your citizens will be heading south too.
