Not to be content with just announcing Gears of War 5 at their E3 press conference, Microsoft also confirmed that they'd be bringing two more Gears games to...different platforms. The first is Gears Pop! It's going to be exclusive to mobile and features all your favorite Gears characters as Funko Pop characters. It's going to be an interesting concept, to the say the least. Nothing is known about the gameplay, but you can check out the trailer below.
The other is Gears Tactics. This is a turn-based squad tactical strategy game. If that's confusing, just think XCOM. Microsoft didn't release a trailer for this one, but the Coaltition did confirm it was in development and showed off some gameplay. Additionally, they confirmed this would be a PC title and made no mention of the Xbox One. This falls in line with their strategy of getting Gears everywhere, so it's possible an Xbox title will not be forthcoming. You can see the reveal of the gameplay at this YouTube link.
We'll get you more info on both of these games as it becomes available.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Gears Tactics (Win 10) achievements.
