Skull & Bones Developers Talk About Pirate Stories and Show Screenshots

By Kevin Tavore,
Skull & Bones has been to two E3s now and it's finally beginning to hit its stride. While last year's showing was a bit muted, this year the game is growing in hype. This is a game that was clearly inspired by Black Flag but has managed to take on a life of its own. Unlike Sea of Thieves, you're a one-man crew (controlling a ton of AI crewmembers just like Assassin's Creed) and that gives you the freedom to make your pirate story whatever you want. Need inspiration? The developers have you covered.

They've also released a number of new screenshots of the game so you can see how it's progressing. Arr you ready?

Skull & Bones doesn't have a release date, but it's coming soon.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Skull & Bones achievements.
