, Kaos Studios' Homefront
appears to have done well commercially judging by the fact that its servers are failing to meet the demand for multiplayer access.
Since the game was released, servers for the game have already doubled, but that does not appear to be easing the wait times too much. Kaos issued the following statement with regard to this issue:
Homefront has sold faster than we expected (which we are thrilled about) and more users are spending more time trying to access multiplayer (which we are also thrilled about). The thing we are not thrilled about is the fact that some gamers are currently having to wait for a match, for which we can only apologise.
Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to cope with the extraordinary demand for servers, and thank you for your continued patience and support.
Kaos also recommended that players try the "Skirmish" playlists if they're having trouble connecting. The "Skirmish" mode is capped at 16 players and thus does not require dedicated server space.

news, THQ stated yesterday that a patch is in the works
to address several outstanding issues, though no release window or further specifics were provided. They also noted that there is a very small number of 360 gamers who can no longer connect to the game at all with their preferred profile.
