FIFA 19 is a yearly title so to some extent, we know what to expect. There'll be some gameplay improvements. This year, that means: (1) a new squad tactics management system to help ensure your AI teammates are performing as you expect and believe they should; (2) "50/50 Battles", which will change how players win loose balls on the pitch; and (3) a new "Active Touch System" that will give you even greater control of the pitch.
The biggest news for the game is the Champions League. The Champions League integration means the Super Cup and the Europa League. It also means that the game's story will focus on bringing your rising star named Alex Hunter all the way to the finals. EA promises that all the drama you'd expect from the playoffs will be there, and you'll of course be able to take your Ultimate team to the end as well.
FIFA 19 is coming September 28th.
