L.A. Noire Brings Glamour to 1940's Los Angeles

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
Detective Cole Phelps will progress through the ranks of the LAPD during the post-war economic boom. In 1947, the glamorous and prestigious glory of Hollywood's golden era is unavoidable, whether it's the enormous mansions, luxury cars, exclusive restaurants, or shops that sell high-end goods. However, all that glitters is not gold:

With power comes ruthlessness, with wealth and privilege come greed, with fame comes desperation - and below that high-gloss sheen lie the darkest of souls.
