DAKAR 18 Trailers Show The Landscapes of The World's Biggest Cross Country Rally

Whilst the release date for the upcoming racing title DAKAR 18 remains unconfirmed, developer Bigmoon Entertainment is keen to show off some of the diversity in the landscapes of the three different countries that make up the rally event: Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.

Dakar 18 - CGI Stills

The three short clips, one for each country, reveal some of the terrains that the vehicles will have traverse. Along with landscapes, the clips also reveal that players will be able to leave their vehicles to wander about and explore the areas and some of the local landmarks. The first video reveals the sands and dunes to be found in Peru. The second video shows the salt plains found in Bolivia, and the final video shows the rocky terrain of Argentina. Whilst the gameplay in all of the videos is still marked as work in progress, the title seems to be shaping up very well.

DAKAR 18 is scheduled to release sometime soon in 2018 on the Xbox One.
