Easiest Xbox Achievement Lists from June 2018

By Mark Delaney, 9 months ago
On playgrounds, it's sometimes said that first is, contrary to popular belief, the worst, but around here we strongly disagree. The first of each month is when you can expect another roundup of the previous month's easiest new achievement lists. We started this series when calendars ticked over to 2018 and every month so far has been generous, albeit some more so than others. June was no different as it saw the release of several more quick and painless adventure games as well as a few critical stinkers that were somewhat salvaged with easy achievements. Here's the full list. As always, let us know if you think we missed anything!

The Journey Down: Chapter One

Completion Time: 1 Hour
Price: $9.99

31/05/2018 - Carousel

The Journey Down is a three-part point-and-click adventure game. Unlike other such games of late, each episode in this series can be bought separately though achievement hunters will still likely want them all. They each bestow a hefty 1,000 Gamerscore to players. That's 3,000 Gamerscore in about three hours. Not bad, right?

The Journey Down: Chapter Two

Completion Time: 1 Hour
Price: $19.99

31/05/2018 - Carousel

If you liked what you saw in the first chapter, or maybe just liked the Gamerscore at the end, welcome back to another breezy run-through for 1000 Gamerscore. Note: If you're buying the trilogy pack for $39.99, you can gain access to the third and final chapter ahead of its standalone release later this week. It'll go on July's list as a reminder too.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

Completion Time: 4-5 Hours
Price: $19.99

Reviews haven't been kind to Shaq Fu, the sequel no one expected or really requested, but it seems some players have liked it a bit at least, as a sort of experiment in the weird. It's got an easy list, at least, so that alone will turn plenty around here into Shaquille O'Neal fans, at least for one day.

Rise of Insanity

Completion Time: 2-3 Hours
Price: $9.99

As one of our briefest completions on the list this month, Rise of Insanity should entice plenty to play along, if only for the quick Gamerscore. However, let it be clearly stated that this game's achievements do seem to be buggy. They won't always unlock when they're supposed to. Sometimes it'll take a few tries with many reporting they're still waiting on achievements days later. Just over 18% of players on site have earned the full 1,000 when it seems like a game that should have a much higher completion percentage than that. Play at your own risk!

Battle Knights

Completion Time: 2-3 Hours
Price: $2.99

Screenshots

We don't know much about Battle Knights on staff as none of us have played it yet. It's an indie platformer and though it has just 12 user ratings currently, it's not looking good averaging 1.2 out of 5. It sounds like the game is a bit of a slog to get through, but you'll only need a few hours, so there's that at least. More than most, it may have you questioning how much you value easy Gamerscore — and your time.

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends

Completion Time: 4-5 Hours
Price: $14.99

Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends

Another month, another Artifex Mundi title. If you've played even one before you probably know what you're getting here. They're quick and simple and offer mostly universal traits. Among fans of the genre, they're also pretty well regarded, so you could worse when plucking games off such a list, especially this month, apparently.
