TA Playlist for July 2018 is Live with Fallout: New Vegas

By Mark Delaney,
It's been said that war never changes, and this month you can bet on it. The next month of TA Playlist kicks off today with Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas.

Fallout: New Vegas

Throughout July, we'll be exploring the western wasteland in search of side quests, achievements, and the man who tries to kill us in the opening cutscene. The game averages a 4.4 out of 5 based on TA user reviews in addition to being lauded by critics as well, boasting an 84 on Metacritic.

How it stacks up against the in-house Bethesda Fallout titles will be a chief talking point, as well as its standalone merits as a vast, open-world RPG with player agency abound. We've got plenty of those today. Does New Vegas still hold up or does it seem quite aged at this point? What kind of character builds do you recommend? Which side missions did you enjoy the most? This is our first RPG for TA Playlist so we'll be diving very deep and welcome both veterans of New Vegas and newcomers alike to join us in the TA Playlist Hub.

In case you missed it, yesterday we also put out the podcast capping off last month's community game, Quantum Break. We'll see you in the forums!
