Last month we received the sad news that no additional content is in the works for Friday the 13th: The Game due to a "legal claim" that scuppers any content plans Gun Media Games had for development. The team did confirm that they would still be fixing bugs and maintaining servers, a statement borne out by this week's release of a new patch.
The majority of the fixes appear to be related to glitchy character models, environment textures and animations, none of them especially major. Offline bots in single player will now be a little more useful, repairing generators correctly and remembering to turn their torch off when hiding.
To celebrate the patch's release, Friday the 13th is having a Double XP week. Log on any time this week up until Monday July 9th to level up twice as fast.
Patch 7.3.18 should be available to install now and you can check out the full patch notes here.
We've got the full list of Friday the 13th: The Game achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
