Trine 2 Delayed

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
I doubt that some of you will have heard of Trine before. The "high-fantasy, physics-based action platformer" was released on PC and PSN, but never made it onto XBLA. Despite this, Atlus are set to release the sequel, Trine 2, on XBLA, but unfortunately it has been delayed from a Spring 2011 release to a late Summer 2011 release window.

The three main characters from the first game are making a reappearance in the sequel. The "powerful knight, the swift rogue, and the crafty wizard" each have their own unique abilities, setting the scene for three-player cooperative gameplay complete with online support. The 'Alluring Adventure' trailer gives you an insight into the typical gameplay, lush environments, and calming music score.

For those of you who can't view the trailer, here are a few previously released screenshots.
