July 7th may not feel like a special day to most people, but to older Halo
fans, it's Bungie Day. Bungie Day exists for no other reason than to celebrate the developer's infatuation with the number 7. Even though the developer has moved on to other things and the fate of the franchise now lies with 343 Industries, the day is still celebrated in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
where players can make progress towards two date specific achievements.
First, you'll want to enter Halo 3
's Valhalla map in Forge mode, in a custom game or in multiplayer matchmaking. Here you can view the Seventh Column Symbol sigil and you can cross off one of the two different sigils needed for the following achievement:
Secondly, you'll also want to enter Halo 2
's Zanzibar map in Forge mode, in a custom game or in multiplayer matchmaking. On the beach, there's a sign near the water's edge. Tomorrow it will read "Are you finding Ling-Ling's head?", and you can cross off one of the two different unique signs needed for the following achievement:
