Rocket League Available Now on Xbox Game Pass

When the running schedule was revealed for episode 5 of Inside Xbox, Microsoft confirmed there would be an Xbox Game Pass announcement. While the announcement possibly wasn't as big as people were expecting, the team did reveal one more game that would be joining the program immediately: Rocket League. Alongside yesterday's release of Bomber Crew and today's release of Warhammer: Vermintide 2, this brings the total to ten new additions for the month of July.

Game Director Scott Rudi also confirmed that a new Rocket ID system will soon be implemented into the game to allow players to party up with those on PC and Nintendo Switch. There will also be improvements to how players level up to "make it more rewarding", as well as the previously announced Rocket Pass.

Finally, Xbox One X enhancements will be arriving later this year with an estimated release date to be announced in the next few months. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear more.
