Far Cry 5 Lost on Mars Beams Down Next Week

After we revealed the achievement list last week, it was fairly obvious the "Lost on Mars" DLC would be arriving soon for Far Cry 5. Ubisoft has indeed revealed the DLC will be arriving next week, and players will be taken to Mars on a mission to destroy an alien threat and save mankind.

Players step into the boots of Nick Rye as he teams up with Hurk to bring a halt to an alien invasion on Earth. While you won't have access to Nick's bombing runs or Hurk's rocket launcher, you will get new alien weapons to use instead, such as the Blaster of Disaster, Hellfire, and Morphinator. You'll also get Space Jets to help you get around. Back in Hope County, players will have access to new weapons there too — Obliteratorrrr, Taser Phazer Annihilazer, Nerve Reaper, Grape Popper, and Hellfire — in case they haven't already liberated the area from the grip of the Project at Eden’s Gate.

Title Update 8 has already added "Lost on Mars" assets to the Arcade Editor ahead of the DLC's launch on July 17th. The DLC can be purchased separately, or as part of the Season Pass. More Arcade Editor assets have been promised for the future, as well as the final DLC experience "Dead Living Zombies" that will be released next month.
