Eidos Montreal has turned to Brian D'Oliviera, whose previous work includes Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
, to provide the South American and Mayan-inspired score for the next game in the journey of Lara Croft, Shadow of the Tomb Raider
. To give players a idea what that will sound like ahead of time, they've released a few tracks from the soundtrack for our listening pleasure. We'll start with "Prologue" because — going by the name of the track, at least — that'll be what we all hear first, moving onto the rather descriptive "Maya Ruins Escape" (spoilers, Eidos!) before finishing with "Obsession".
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
, with D'Oliviera's soundtrack in tow, releases on September 14th.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Shadow of the Tomb Raider achievements.
