E3's Forgotten ID@Xbox Titles: Pizza Titan Ultra, Sigi, Ages of Mages and More

By Rebecca Smith,
Between the ID@Xbox montage trailer and the last couple of weeks, we've met 37 ID@Xbox titles that were at E3 2018. We still have plenty more to see, though, so we continue onwards with another five titles that might have escaped your attention and are due to be released within the next couple of months. See if there's anything that you fancy in the list below.

Ages of Mages - The last keeper

YFC games' debut console title is a "third-person shooter beat 'em up" that has RPG and roguelite elements. The kingdom is under attack and the princess has been snatched by a giant dragon. Up to four players join forces to control a group of mages, each of which has their own characteristics, on their way to rescue the princess and claim the title of Guardian. They'll need to make their way through 25 stages of randomly generated dungeons, defeating many enemies and bosses. Use any of the 20 different wands available, each coming with their own spells to cast. The title is heading to Xbox One and Windows 10 in September.

Eternum EX

Drawing inspiration from 80s arcade cabinet titles like Bomb Jack, Ghosts’n Goblins, Baluba-louk no Densetsu, and Psychic 5, Flynns Arcade's title is a retro platformer that promises to be an "ode to the nostalgia of the golden age of arcade games". The title offers simple gameplay mechanics with precise controls that are hard to master and promise a challenging and "addictive" experience. Players will need to conquer 25 levels with secret bonuses on every level, and bosses to be found in some. The game is due to be released on Xbox One in Q3 2018.

Pizza Titan Ultra

The creators of STARWHAL are back with yet another crazy title. This third-person "action platformer" is inspired by 90s Saturday morning cartoons and the colour scheme that went with it. Players control a giant mech as it delivers pizza. Of course, the customers don't just want their pizza delivered — they want the mech to complete missions for them like destroying noisy helicopters, or helping "man-sized dogs record hip hop albums". Ultimately, players will take on enemies and smash their way through the city as they attempt to find out how a former pizzeria mascot, Cheezborg, turned into a deranged robot overlord. The title will be appearing on Xbox One this September.

Sigi - A Fart for Melusina

The debut Xbox One title from pixel.lu is an 8-bit side-scrolling adventure that sees players assume the role of Knight Sigi. His mother has sent him to find a wife, but the love of his life, Melusina, is in trouble. Sigi needs to run and jump his way through the levels of Mount Stinkup, defeating enemies, taking down bosses, and finding treasure in a bid to save her. The game promises to have something that will please both completionists and speedrunners, with plenty of things to find for the former and a challenge for the latter. You'll be able to try it for yourself on September 7th.

Tyd wag vir Niemand

Skobbejak Games, developer of 'n Verlore Verstand, is back with their second title to hit Xbox One and Windows 10. In the "abstract first person adventure", players become a military rescue agent who's looking for a science team missing in mysterious circumstances in Antarctica. They'd found an ancient pyramid on the continent, inside which was a machine that teleports people to different dimensions of space and time. Armed with a device that enables him to slow down time, he needs to find his way back to the present day while also solving the mystery of the missing team. The title arrives on Xbox One in September.
