Super Street: The Game Delayed to September

After testing the waters in the vehicular combat genre with Road Rage, and dabbling briefly with monster trucks, Team6 Game Studios is aiming to break into the simulation racing genre with their upcoming title Super Street: The Game. Previously supposed to release at the start of August, the developer has now revealed the game will be delayed by a month into September. To soften the blow a little, we've got a couple of new screenshots and the first gameplay trailer too.

Super Street is a name associated with tuning and customising cars. As you might expect, the game doesn't let players buy entire cars — you buy car parts and build your own. Starting with little more than scrap parts, you'll need to be successful across several game modes to be able to earn better parts and work towards building your dream car. The game includes over 700 different parts from some of the biggest aftermarket brands, and you can customise the car's exterior, interior, and performance. The new gameplay trailer shows just some of the options that will be available.

Despite the delay, players still have less than two months to wait to be able to put together their own dream ride — Super Street: The Game is now due to be released on September 4th.
