Prepare To Be Haunted With The Announced Call of Cthulhu Release Date

Prepare to be haunted! The upcoming narrative RPG game Call of Cthulhu, the video game translation of the Chaosium famous pen and paper RPG game, has a release date, appropriately coming out the day before Halloween.

We also got a haunted glimpse at four new screenshots, giving us some inkling of the dark world of Edward Pierce, as he explores the islands of Darkwater for answers regarding the mysterious deaths of the Hawkins family. The edge of madness embraces you as Pierce is enveloped in a web of conspiracies, cultists, and cosmic horrors.

Nothing is as it seems. Sanity is an irregular bedfellow, all too often replaced by whisperings in the dark. Strange creatures, weird science, and shadowy cults dominate the Cthulhu Mythos, intent on realizing their mad schemes to bring about the end of all. Your mind will suffer - balancing a razor-thin line between sanity and madness, your senses will be disrupted until you question the reality of everything around you. Trust no one. Creeping shadows hide lurking figures… and all the while, the Great Dreamer prepares for his awakening.

Call of Cthulhu will release on October 30th, the day before Halloween! Boo!

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Call of Cthulhu achievements.
