Some games cause a real buzz in the community when they are announced, and Bee Simulator
is no different. Varsav Games Studio are giving you the chance to take on the role of a living breathing bee, as you risk wing and stinger in order to save your beloved tree, and home, from being destroyed.
The life of a bee isn't all honey and flowers, so you'll have a number of tasks and quests to complete throughout your journey. Race other bees, use your stinger to save yourself, guide your friends back to the hive and scour high and low for the best pollen.
With a split screen mode, additional maps and the chance to see and interact with Central Park in a way you never have before, Bee Simulator
has the makings of a thoroughly interesting and relaxing experience. The game is also marketed as a perfect game for parents to play with their children as there is no violence, and it is accompanied by a soundtrack composed by Mikolaj Stroinski of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Take a look at the handful of the screenshots for the game to see just how pretty the life of a bee can look; you won't bee-lieve your eyes.
If those screenshots have made you hungry for more, the trailer below gives you a chance to see the bees in action. This video gives us a look inside the buzz of the hive and the outside world from the perspective of a bee.
The game is due to release on PC first later this year, with consoles to follow at a later date. Stingers at the ready!
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Bee Simulator achievements.
