If you're a passionate fighting-game fan and enjoy keeping up with the seriously competitive side of gaming with the likes of professional tournaments and competitions, then you may heard of the Evolution Championship Series. The Evolution Championship Series or, Evo, for short, has just about wrapped up their recent event that took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. During this event, two new fighters were showcased for the first time from Team Ninja's upcoming DEAD OR ALIVE 6. Players will have witnessed the skills and intensity of returning antagonist Rig, who made his debut in Dead or Alive 5, and also a new fighter by the name of Diego.

Here's the lowdown on Diego followed by his very own reveal trailer:

Known as “The Uncrowned Street Hero,” Diego makes his DOA debut boasting the raw and brutal skills of a street fighter, utilizing everything from headbutts to tackles in taking down opponents. This gritty fighter grew up in the back alleys of New York, earning money to support his ailing mother by competing in many street matches. Long rumored to be the strongest fighter in his neighborhood, he is seen by many locals as a hero as he utilizes his experience brawling in confined quarters to impact fights with a set of strong-style moves.

Team Ninja also provides details on Rig, as the two fighters join the other six playable characters - Helena Douglas, Hayate, Ryu Hayabusa, Zack, Kasumi, and Jann Lee.

Joining Diego is returning taekwondo master Rig, who boasts the “Kicks of Truth and Deceit.” Rig, who originally debuted in Dead or Alive 5, is a former oil platform worker whose kick-heavy style has evolved to incorporate more acrobatic maneuvers. To kick-off their confrontation in DOA6, the formidable brawler Rig challenges Diego in a New York alley, and the two decide the time for conversation is over; it’s time to fight!

DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is currently slated for an Xbox One release in Early 2019.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the DEAD OR ALIVE 6 achievements.
