The summer transfer window is about to close for the UK's Premier League. Not to be outdone by any of the big name signings that have dominated the headlines recently, EA has announced that The Journey: Champions protagonist Alex Hunter will be undergoing a change in his career for FIFA 19
too. The player will be joining Real Madrid for the start of the season.
Hunter had previously made his mark in the Premier League. He then joined LA Galaxy and helped them to win the MLS Cup, before returning to Europe where he led his chosen club to victory in the league and cup. He retains his favoured number 29 shirt upon his transfer to Real Madrid and will be aiming for UEFA Champions League glory. Whether Hunter will be able to fill the void created by the departure of Ronaldo will remain to be seen, but at least the player received a warm welcome from some of his future team mates in the video below.
Players will be able to help him on the next stage of his career when FIFA 19
is released on September 28th. Those who pre-order the Champions or Ultimate Edition of the title will be able to access the game three days earlier on September 25th. A Play First Trial
will also be available through EA Access on September 20th.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the FIFA 19 achievements.
