New Battlefield 3 Fault Line Trailer Released

By Ashley Woodcock, 7 years ago
EA and Dice have released the third episode from the Fault Line series for their upcoming title Battlefield 3.

The trailer follows Sergeant Black, who has been sent into a basement to investigate a suspicious looking wire; the wire was spotted by his squad after they "located the missing patrol". I don't want to spoil the first part of the trailer for anyone, so I won't mention what DICE will be introducing in this section of the trailer.

After investigating the basement, the player takes to the streets to join the rest of the squad. Here you get to see the Frostbite 2 Engine in action again with some sweet environmental destruction, not to mention how good the area looks to begin with.

Here's the trailer:

After having a little laugh at the soldier being hurled to the ground by what looked like an underground explosion, I still couldn't figure out exactly what happened. But as stated in the trailer, there will be a "Full 12 minute reveal" released on April 17th, this will put my mind to rest as to what happened to that poor guy.

Battlefield 3 is still set for release this Autumn, 2011.
