Flashback 25th Anniversary Will Take Us Back To The 90s

By Ashley Woodcock,
Back in 1992, a classic action-adventure title was released in the form of Flashback, where players took on the role of Conrad B. Hart who's on a mission to recover his memory after having it erased at the hands of Morphs. A new version of the game, Flashback, was released in August 2013 via the Xbox Live Arcade, which also included the original title. I personally enjoyed the game that much that I picked up the XBLA version just to play the original despite their being no achievements tied to it. Now, we can flash back to the past and bag a new set of achievements at the same time as Microïds has announced Flashback 25th Anniversary.

A limited edition of the game will be available for purchase in Europe only and includes the following:

  • Physical copy of the game
  • A 28-page booklet
  • Two sheets of stickers
  • A digital copy of the soundtrack
  • A lenticular cover

When you fire up the title, choose between the original game experience or "Modern Mode", which will come with post-FX graphic filters, remastered sounds and music, a 'Rewind' function, and even a tutorial, which is something you didn't see much of back in the day.

Take a blast into the past when Flashback 25th Anniversary releases physically and digitally on October 25th, 2018.

We've got the full list of Flashback 25th Anniversary achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
