Originally set to release next month, DICE and EA have announced that the release of Battlefield V
has been pushed back a month to November. The official reason given by Oskar Gabrielson, DICE CEO, is that the delay will provide time to implement player feedback and make various meaningful improvements to the gameplay experience — and there's no reason not to believe them, we should add — but it does come with the added benefit of removing them from the sandwich between Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
and Red Dead Redemption 2
that was their previous position. Battlefield V
will now release on November 20th. You'll be able to check out some of those aforementioned improvements in the game's open beta, which begins on September 6th.
