Two Sea of Thieves
videos from Rare take a look at the latest update and explain how rowboats will be implemented when they are added to the game in the upcoming "Forsaken Shores" update. First up is a Behind the Scenes video featuring Senior Designer Shelley Preston talking rowlocks with presenter Jon.
The Developer Diary video features Executive Producer Joe Neate summarising the changes made to Sea of Thieves
in Patch 1.2.4. These include the addition of Cursed Cannonballs for players to discover in the game world, an increase in controller sensitivity and changes to the inventory system. Finding and using Cursed Cannonballs is part of the current "Cursed Crews" Bilge Rat Adventure which runs until September 11th. This update has a lot more changes than usual, so the full patch notes are provided in spoiler tags below the Developer Diary video.
Patch 1.2.4 for Sea of Thieves
is available to download now. The "Forsaken Shores" event begins on September 19th.
