The release of version 1.0 of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
today has finally brought along the game's achievements. Many of you were disappointed to learn that the achievements initially wouldn't be retroactively awarded for actions players had completed during the Game Preview phase. However, we bring good news. PUBG Corp has now confirmed that some of the achievements WILL be awarded retroactively.
In a forum post, the team confirms that they've "found a workaround for the issue", and some of the game's achievements will now be awarded retroactively. These are the achievements players will be able to unlock immediately if they've already met the requirements:
As well as the achievements, PUBG 1.0 brings along a few new features and bug fixes, including a third map, Sanhok, and the Event Pass. The full patch notes are in the spoiler below:PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
