If you're anything like my husband, you had the Battlefield V
beta ready to go yesterday when the pre-load period began. Those of you with EA Access, or who have pre-ordered the title, have two days of early access beginning today before the beta opens for everyone on September 6th. The beta runs until September 11th and once it's finished, DICE is continuing the Road to Battlefield V promotion with a DLC giveaway that Battlefield 1
players won't want to miss.
Between September 11th and September 18th, players will be able to download the Battlefield 1
Premium Pass for free. The pass includes all four of the game's expansions — "They Shall not Pass
", "In the Name of the Tsar
", "Turning Tides
", and "Apocalypse
" — meaning players will get all of the game's additional maps, Operations, game modes, Elite classes, weapons, and more. The giveaway is supposed to be the culmination of everything that DICE has given away up until this date.
The Road to Battlefield V promotion will continue after this week with more "giveaways, missions, and map rotations", even though the game's release date has been pushed back to November. More details are promised on their calendar page
in the future. For now, you can get a quick rundown of everything the new game will offer in the trailer below.
You'll now be able to get your hands on all of the Battlefield V
features in the trailer on November 20th. Meanwhile, the beta is running now for those with early access and begins on September 6th for everybody else.
