THQ Nordic Acquires Kingdoms of Amalur IP From 38 Studios By Andy Mills, 07 Sep 2018 CommentsLess than a month after their subsidiary Koch Media picked up the TimeSplitters and Second Sight IPs, THQ Nordic have done a little purchasing of their own, acquiring the Kingdoms of Amalur IP as well as other assets from the former developer 38 Studios. It's a move that makes sense considering THQ Nordic's penchant for acquiring mid-tier gaming franchises and bringing them back to life, and yet is still quite the surprise considering the legal mess surrounding the game between 38 Studios, former baseball player Curt Schilling and the state of Rhode Island. Now we wait to see exactly what THQ Nordic will do with the IP. Given their strategy so far, a re-release or remaster is possibly on the horizon, but could they also do something with the abandoned Amalur MMORPG project, Copernicus, as well? We've got the full list of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.Industry News Written by Andy MillsJust one of the fine Newshounds on TrueAchievements.
