Vote Now for October 2018's TA Playlist Game

By Mark Delaney,
Let's get spooky again! With October approaching, it's time to pick what we'll be playing for TA Playlist, and as is already a tradition, we'll be picking from four horror games for the month of Halloween. We hope the choice is tough — that means we've picked four good games — and we think whatever wins, we'll have another great month of community discussion. So pick your favorite and remember: lights off, headphones on!

Dying Light

Review Images

Dying Light is a first-person, action survival game set in a vast open world. Roam a city devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help defeat the hordes of flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, beware the Infected as they grow in strength and even more lethal nocturnal predators leave their nests to feed on their prey. Live to survive another day. Good Night, Good Luck.

Metro 2033

Metro 2033 Redux 2

Set in the shattered subway of a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. Based on the internationally bestselling novel series by Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Resident Evil

02/11/14 - Zombie

In 1998 a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion. But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. Supplies are scarce as they struggle to stay alive.

Silent Hill 2

Silent hill 2 1

Silent Hill created an atmosphere that was not only eerie, but also often psychologically unnerving: David Lynch's Twin Peaks combined with the look of a Marilyn Manson video. Silent Hill 2 brings you back to the town of Silent Hill as James, a man who lost his wife several years earlier. One day, he receives a letter from his dead wife telling him to come back to Silent Hill, but what he finds there when he returns is nothing short of horrifying.
As always, any version of all games is eligible, so don't worry whether you're playing a last-gen copy or not. The poll will be open for one week and then we'll reveal the winner. In the meantime, we're just halfway through our month with Red Dead Redemption. Come ride into the sunset with us.
