Revealed not too ago at E3, Devil May Cry 5
has been making the rounds since with stops at Gamescom and PAX West. Tokyo Game Show, obviously based in Capcom's home country of Japan, was not going to miss out on all the smokin' sick style and Capcom have not disappointed with screenshots and a new trailer for the upcoming character action title.
The screenshots are mostly connected to the game's new trailer, shown off at Tokyo Game Show. The trailer mostly focuses on the series' long-time protagonist Dante — who has brought a couple of familiar faces with him in Trish and Lady — but we also see a little more of Nero and a first look at the game's third protagonist, the debuting V who, despite this brief appearance, remains shrouded in mystery. Capcom promises more on him in the coming months.
For those that watched to the very end of that trailer, you'll have seen a blurb about the game's Deluxe Edition. One of the bonuses is a set of exclusive Devil Breakers for Nero, and one of those is based on the famous Mega Man weapon, the Mega Buster, set to star in the soon-to-be-released Mega Man 11
. So as a little bonus, Capcom showed off how it'll look in action, albeit with a few altered camera angles at times as a nod to Mega Man
sidescroller status. Devil May Cry 5
will bring the style to Xbox One on March 8th.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Devil May Cry 5 achievements.
