In 2012, publisher THQ lost the UFC video game license to EA. It was just one of many signs that things weren't quite right at the company who, of course, went bust just a few months later. Many of their titles and assets were divided up amongst a multitude of bidders, such as THQ Nordic (or Nordic Games as they were known back then), Take-Two and Ubisoft, but with the UFC license already with another company, the Undisputed
titles were not amongst those that hit the headlines. As such, it remains a mystery who's responsible for the surprise news that UFC Undisputed 2009
has received a patch that has made the Gold Digger!
achievement obtainable again, but we're not complaining.
Previously discontinued in 2009 thanks to a previous game patch that broke the achievement, the phrase "better late than never" springs to mind. Over nine years later, players can fully complete the game and earn all of its 30 achievements once again.
