While the Collector's Edition
for the remake of Resident Evil 2
may have a plenty of shiny extras with it, the steep price tag will most likely put off a few gamers. To incentivise those in the U.S. who are on the fence, Capcom has announced a Deluxe Edition of the game that is packed with a few bonus goodies.
While toting some unique costumes for both Claire and Leon, this edition of Resident Evil 2
also allows players to put their favourite character of the two front and centre with a reversible cover. A retro soundtrack swap seems to be part of the offering as well, which will, of course, appeal to those who are returning to the title for a second time in its revamped state.
Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition are available from the game's website
. You'll be able to play it for yourself when it shambles its way onto shelves on January 25th, 2019.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Resident Evil 2 achievements.
