Darkest Dungeon's "The Color of Madness" DLC has made its way from PC to Xbox One, launching for US$4.99 or regional equivalent. The DLC adds the new Farmstead region to explore, new buildings to upgrade the homestead, more enemies including a new faction and three bosses, new quirks, trinkets and curios, and more.

The DLC went live with five new achievements and "the large game balance patch that has been live for the PC version of the game since June."

With the launch of the new DLC, the old Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition on the Xbox Marketplace has been replaced with a new one that includes the base game and "The Color of Madness" in addition to the previously released "The Shieldbreaker" and "The Crimson Court" DLC add-ons. In celebration of the launch of the newest content, Darkest Dungeon, its Ancestral Edition and its individual DLC packs — save for the expansion that just launched — are on sale for 25% off.
